We met Gissele Manzano Ceo, founder of @LePandaRuch NY and together with her we were given the task of co-creating what we consider represents sustainable Latin culture in the Big Apple. The production took place in Sasha Jones’ studio with photographer @milofynn and model @ mira.hart in January 2020.
We did this collaborative production spontaneously, meeting Miguel Leyba by chance; a fashion influencer who personalized the Gookarma spirit, current GooDarma.
IN 2019 we got to know the project for the artistic projection laboratory (creation of a music video) of the Afro Hip Hop foundation in the city of Cali thanks to an invitation from Maria Paola Herrera from the art team of this project. This collaboration consisted of contributing from the wardrobe and the general assistance of the art team.
After the recording of the video clip and moved by the situation of violence and forced displacement experienced by the Afro-descendant communities in the jarillón crack, we decided to create an activism campaign that denounced what was happening there with the displacement and at the same time invited to meet artists urban areas of the community.
Joah Minatti is a Spanish urban artist we met in Medellin Colombia at Colombia Moda 2019. At the time, Minatti was recording his new album in the capital of reggaeton. From that moment we started collaboration with him seeking to create a sustainable fashion path within the industry of this musical genre. Here we present Reptiliano, his most recent production with AK47. The production of this work was done by Jack Attack and Napez Studios.
